H is for ... Hats

- If you are a bride that has a specific dress code in mind whether that's hats or no hats or perhaps just small hats, then make sure you let your guests know asap so they can avoid wearing those larger headpieces. Perhaps state this on 'save the date' cards, as invitations are usually sent out 3 months before your wedding, and there will be some of your guests who will have sorted their outfit by then.
- Be confident if you do choose to wear a hat, remember the hat should match your style, not the other way around.
- The mother of the groom should always chose a hat smaller than the mother of the bride's.
- If you need too, ask your photographer to remind guests to adjust their hats for pictures to ensure their heads aren't buried in them.
- Because a ladies hat is an accessory, they don't have to remove them indoors ... sorry fellas but you have too.
- Finally, the mother of the bride decides when others should remove their hats, until she removes hers others are expected to leave theirs on.
Here's a few hats that we love
