Pet's play an important role in a person's life so it's no wonder some people opt to include them in their wedding ... besides, is there anything cuter than a dog in a tux?
Although you may think having your dog as your ring bearer is the best idea you should first take into consideration a few things:
- What's your dog's personality? You should think about whether the experience will be enjoyable for them, will they feel comfortable around your guests and the surroundings?
- Will your dog be well behaved? You certainly don't want your canine companion running wild during the ceremony! Even the most friendly dog can get a bit overwhelmed.
- Will your chosen venue allow pets to attend? You don't want to arrive with your dogs on the day only to be told they can't be included.
- Make sure you inform your guests in case of allergies or a fear of dogs, put a little info on your wedding website.
- Let your photographer know, it'll allow them to capture the special moments like your dog walking down the aisle.
