where the weather is usually hot, it isn't something
that can be guaranteed.
You may be having your wedding in one of the hottest seasons of the year, but can you always look forward to a nice summer's day?
Well, we don't want to panic you, we just want to prepare you! Ensuring you have a back-up kit will help you feel much better if it does rain on your wedding day. Here's a few tips on preparing for the rain:

- Speak to your photographer about other weddings they have done on rainy days. It will give you more confidence if you realise they have done this many times before and know the tricks of the trade!
- Usually when we have a rainy day there is a break between showers (or storms!) work with your photographer to get outside when the timing is right.
- Bring your wellies as a back up. You can go for the fabulous spotty or patterned versions, or even purchase some wedding wellies especially for your day.
- Have a wedding jacket, shrug or shawl available.
- If you'd like any photos of you sitting down, bring a waterproof sheeting/blanket, a luxurious blanket could be in the wedding photos.
- And obviously don't forget your umbrella! You don't need to purchase a white umbrella, a patterned, spotty or striped umbrella would work perfectly if it matches with your theme.
- Matching wellies and unbrellas would bring even more uniqueness to your day.
- If you have any worries about it raining on your wedding day, we advised you talk these concerns through with your photographer. Ask to see photos they have shot in the rain before.
- Most importantly - Have fun! As mentioned in our blog post Q is for ... Quick, your day will fly by, so try not to be too disappointed if it is raining.
