- Place beer, lager and wine bottles in cool boxes.
- Arrange your tables with picnic food: little cucumber sandwiches, fruit, cake and other nibbles.
- Every table could hold a picnic basket: use this for their favours.
- Drinks: Homemade lemonade, cocktail champagne and fruit crushed drinks.
- Use melon, strawberries and other fruit for canapes.
- Incorporate twigs and branches into your theme: Use a small tree plant to clip on messages from your guests instead of a normal guest book.
- Use twigs for name places.
- Place mini plants, trees and flowers around the eating area and on the tables.
- If you're feeling very adventurous, hire articial grass! Ask your venue if they would allow you to do this. Check out these places for more information on hiring pretend grass.
- Put games outside such as, rounders, cricket, football, croquet etc.
- Ask your guests to come dressed for your outside-styled wedding: beachwear, tennis wear or simply shorts and t-shirts.
- Incorporate outside colours into your theme: green bridesmaids or yellow daffodils.
- Hire an ice-cream van instead of giving your guests desserts.
