We love this jam jar idea. It doesn't have to be jam jars, it could be any jars, they don't have to be the same shape or size.

Get your family and friends to help. When they have finished with their jars, pass them to you and start collecting!

Cover the lids in the colour of your choice: matching your theme is a great idea. If you'd like something more funky, use a range of bright coloured fabric to cover the lids. Lace works really well if you're having a vintage style wedding. Ensure the fabric sticks to the lid by using glue or double backed sticky tape, then wrap a ribbon around the fabric. You can even attach the name setting to the jar, this saves money on having separate name places.

You can fill the jars with a range of things, we love the idea of sweets or chocolates (and sure your guests would too!). If you'd rather have something more personal, even inspiring, fill the jars with a range of motivational messages, or one individual message just for them.
