Dogs at Weddings
9:43:00 amWe just loved our D ... is for Dogs in our A-Z blog that we've decided to dedicate another of our daily posts to those adorable canine companions ... after all weddings are about what and who you love!
Your dog is an important part of your family and it's only natural you'd want ALL of your family included in your wedding, not to mention how absolutely adorable they'd look in a little tux.
Here at Calm Weddings we decided to dig a little deeper and look at a few more pointers to consider before bringing your dog along to your big day.
- Does your dog have what it takes - weddings are full of people (obviously) so if your dog is shy and could get uncomfortable then it's probably not the best idea to bring them along.
- What part of the wedding do you want them in - will they be walking down the aisle with you or standing at the alter, it's important to think about the details.
- Does your venue allow dogs - some do have no pet policies so it's best to do your research.
- Have a handler - this will relieve the pressure you might have to make sure your dog behaves throughout the day.
- Give them a groom - well, it's only right everyone looks their best isn't it?
