Hopefully you've understand our blog theme this week: it's really important you keep your relationship alive when you are wedding planning. And at Calm Weddings we are loving the word ... Flanter!
It's important that you still flirt with your partner, but take it a bit further with a bit of flirty banter = flanter!

Don't forget to stop dating each
other and remember why you are getting married.
If you feel your wedding planning is taking over your life, here's a few tips to keep the passion alive:
1/ Schedule weekly dates with your partner, whether this be a night in or a night at the cinema, just make sure it's a commitment to each other.
2/ Commit to a hobby together: maybe you want to get fit before your wedding, do something together you both enjoy. But this doesn't have to be fitness related, you could start a cooking night together. Learn some new recipes for your newly married life.
3/ Be romantic: rose petals on the bed, candles around the bath or a nice massage can really make you both feel connected.
4/ Play games: this may seem quite an unusual suggestion. You may have in mind an elderly couple playing chess or cards. But you can soon make a game of chess or cards into a flantering game of strip or something exotic. Be a bit risky and enjoy each other. You don't even have to make it passionate, just enjoy each other's company.
5/ Our final tip of the day is to make sure you really soak up each other. Make each other happy. Do something you both enjoy. Keep this going into your married life!
