As a professional make-up artist there is no better feeling than seeing how happy your bride is on her wedding day, you have made her feel so beautiful with the look that you have created just for her. I am yet to meet a bride or bridesmaid who have regretted getting their make-up professionally applied for the big day. I know that this is something that does weigh on a few people’s minds so here are my top reasons for hiring a professional make-up artist for your wedding day…

A professional make-up artist will have years of experience usually along with extensive
training. They will know exactly which products photograph perfectly under a range of different lighting, such as artificial indoor lighting and natural outdoor lighting.
You need somebody who understands about the makings of the products they are using. The last thing you want is your photos to turn out with the dreaded white ‘ghost face’ because your base make-up had too much titanium and zinc oxide in that caused the camera flash to reflect off your face (I bet that’s not something that crossed your mind!).
They will understand exactly where to contour and highlight your face to accentuate your best features, how to shape your brows in a way that creates perfect structure to your face and so on.
