We here at Calm Weddings know just how stressful finding that perfect wedding dress can be, especially when there are so many different styles and designs.
To give you a little helping hand and a bit more information, we want to show you lovely ladies what dress types are out there so you know exactly what to look for!
Ballgown
This type of dress is perfect for any body type with it's design to flare out at the bottom of the dress and flow easily. A Ballgown type dress never goes out of style as it's a timeless classic!

A-Line
An A-Line dress has a fitted bodice through the waist and flows out to the floor which resembles the outline of an uppercase A.

Trumpet
This type of dress is fitted through the body and flares mid-thigh and tends to be more ideal for frames with a smaller waist. As it accentuates the hip area, ladies who are more pear and apple shaped should try to avoid this type.

Mermaid
A mermaid dress is fitted on the body from the chest to the knee then flares out close to the knee. More suited for slender frames and hourglass body types who want to show off their curves.
